This policy applies to registration fees and voluntary donations made through Sahaja Yoga Mahotsav Registration Portal operated by H.H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi Sahaja Yoga Trust.

Failed or incomplete online transactions

If your bank account or UPI wallet is debited but registration is not confirmed, please contact us with your transaction ID / UTR, date, amount, and registered mobile number. We will verify with PayU / the bank and, if the payment did not result in a successful registration, initiate a refund within 7 working days of verification.

Refunded amounts are credited back to the original payment source. As per payment network norms, bank credit may take 5 to 21 working days (longer for some net banking channels).

Duplicate payments

If you were charged twice for the same registration, contact us with both transaction references. After verification, the duplicate amount will be refunded to the source account.

Cancellation by participant

Cancellation requests must be emailed to theshrine1923@gmail.com with your name, event, and payment reference. Refund eligibility for voluntary cancellation depends on the event’s published rules and timing; administrative or gateway charges may be deducted where permitted. Unless stated otherwise for a specific event, fees may be non-refundable close to the event date.

Cancellation by organisers

If an event is cancelled or you are not admitted due to an error on our side after confirmed payment, we will offer a full refund of the registration fee paid for that event or an alternative remedy as communicated to you.

Manual / UTR-based payments

Where payment is submitted with a UTR and screenshot for manual verification, refunds for rejected or duplicate submissions follow the same principles after verification by event administrators.

How to request a refund

1. Email theshrine1923@gmail.com (or the grievance officer at theshrine1923@gmail.com)
2. Include: full name, mobile, event name, transaction ID / UTR, payment date, amount, and reason
3. We will respond with the outcome of verification and expected timeline
